The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution NSDAR is one of the most inclusive genealogical societies in the country. 

Any woman 18 years or older- regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background who can prove lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution, is eligible for membership.

You don’t have to be a genealogist to join DAR, but you will need to do some research and gather some documentation.  Start with what you know about yourself and your immediate family and work your way back.
