Samuel Bryan Chapter members donated gift cards, snacks, and small plush animals to gift to our local first responders in honor of Patriot Day 2023. Members Suzanne S., Molly S., Linda S., and Deb P. delivered the gift bags and our thanks to the Beech Grove Police Department, Fire Department, and E.M.S. on September 11th, 2023.
We appreciate our First Responders for all they do for our community and it’s our pleasure to honor them on this significant date!
Beech Grove, Indiana – The Samuel Bryan Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) have the pleasure of recognizing the winner of our chapter Good Citizen Award.
The DAR Good Citizens program and Scholarship Contest is intended to encourage and reward the sparkling qualities of good citizenship in our students. The program is open to all high school seniors enrolled in public or private schools accredited and in good standing with their state board of education. Students are not required to be United States citizens.
The Samuel Bryan Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, along with Hornet Park Community Center in Beech Grove held its third annual Veterans Appreciation Luncheon on Saturday afternoon. This free luncheon for all local veterans began at 11am with Chapter Regent Patricia Moy welcoming all in attendance, reminding them that this event was to celebrate their courage, sacrifices, and to sincerely thank them for their service.
